Scores of
Americans participate in local Kidney Walks put on by The
National Kidney Foundation (NKF) every year. On Saturday, June 18 (the Saturday of
Father's Day weekend), the Northeast
Indiana Kidney Walk will take place. It will take place at Headwaters Park (West) in
Fort Wayne, Indiana. The walk's main purpose is to raise funds for kidney disease prevention as well as education. Folks who participate in the walk can have a complimentary
Kidney Disease Risk Assessment done while there because as with most
diseases, early detection is the key to successful treatment of kidney disease.
For more information or to register please visit the NKF web page which contains all the details about the event. Just
