A Music Monday rewind
Last week's Music Monday was about the return of Beavis and Butt-Head to MTV this summer. I shared a video clip from one of their original shows back in the '90s in which they were watching the music video to Ozzy Osbourne's song "Shot in the Dark." However, it only covered about two minutes of the song. So, today I decided to go back and run the entire video minus Beavis' interruptions.
"Shot in the Dark" was on Ozzy's 1986 album The Original Sin and has been one of his most popular singles. People have wondered what the song is about. However, most believe it is about a paid hitman and the lyrics appear to support that. Others believe it may actually be about a hitman who is hired to eliminate someone he or she cares about. Even though the song's lyrics are a little dark in nature, the song's tune is kinda catchy and the music upbeat. Personally, I think it's one of Ozzy's best works. See what you think.
