The Crue is back for a 30th Anniversary Tour

I usually post music videos on Music Mondays, but today I decided to do something different and talk concerts. The Bad Boys of Rock N' Roll, Motley Crue, begin a summer tour tomorrow June 7th. The tour will visit more than 40 cities this summer in celebration of the band's 30th Anniversary. They will be accompanied by Poison, who is celebrating their 25th Anniversary, and the New York Dolls.

I've been a fan of Motley Crue's music since high school even though their hard-living lifestyle was something that never appealed to me. I've seen them twice in concert, including the 1989 Dr. Feelgood Tour and in the mid-'90s when John Carobi was the lead singer. This summer's tour is sure to be a hot ticket with Poison being along for the ride. These two bands have combined to sell more than 100 million records worldwide. They are arguably two of the most popular bands of all time.

If you're a fan of either or both of these bands, you might want to grab a ticket to this tour. Since Motley Crue's career now spans 30 years and Poison's 25, it's safe to say that both bands are getting close to hanging up the guitars and the drumsticks. The summer of 2011 could be one of your last chances to see them live.

Current announced tour dates and locations are below. These could change and more dates could be added. For more information and tickets visit www.motley.com or Motley Crue's fan club website by clicking here.
