Rock 'N Ribs to raise awareness and money for organ donation

On August 20, 2011, the 16th Annual Texas Uprising BBQ Dinner and concert will be held in Salt Lake City, Utah (pictured) at the Gallivan Center. The dinner and concert will raise money to benefit Team Donate Life Utah and Intermountain Donor Services and will last from 6 P.M. to 10 P.M. that evening at 239 S. Main Street in the Gallivan Center ampitheater.

The dinner and concert are part of Rock 'N Ribs, a barbeque competition sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Association, which will be held earlier in the day. It sounds like a great event for a great cause. If you live in the area, please go check it out. If I lived in the area, I would be there. It's hard to pass up good barbeque.
