Hand Transplants

Back in March, I posted a story about a wounded Veteran who had received a hand transplant. Recently, the WSJ.com ran a story, Health Blog Q & A : Talking Hand Transplants with a Surgeon, that discusses this relatively new procedure along with the associated rejection issues and who's a good candidate for such a surgery. It's a very interesting read that has the potential to bring hope to many Americans.
