Sarah Palin's "Alaska" TV show Airs Sunday

I'll admit it - I'm a Sarah Palin fan. However, when John McCain first announced her as his 2008 running mate, I did not think he made a good move and questioned "Sarah who ?" However, as the campaign wore on, and I heard her speak and learned more about her, my opinion changed. In fact, I got to the point where I felt like she would have been a better candidate than McCain.

Palin's new TV show, "Alaska," aired for the first time last weekend. It will last eight weeks and is on The Learning Channel (TLC) on Sunday nights at 9 PM Eastern / 8 PM Central. It is a reality-type show highlighting Palin and her family. My impression of the first episode was mixed. It didn't seem to have a nice, natural, smooth flow. However, the pictures of Alaska's scenery and wildlife were awesome. Overall, I'd probably grade it a B-, but I believe that it has the potential to get better. Whether you're a fan of Palin or not, it's worth checking out at least once for the marvelous scenery.

If you haven't read her book "Going Rogue," I encourage you to do so. Her new one, "America by Heart," is coming out later this month.
