Unless you've been living in a cave since the 1970s, you've heard of Gene Simmons and KISS, the legendary rock band. They have been one of the most successful, as well as controversial, rock / heavy metal bands in history. Whether you like them or not, you need to watch this awesome video of them entertaining, supporting, and rocking our heroic troops whose sacrifices protect our freedoms each day. I guarantee that you've never heard these U.S. military anthems or "God Bless America" played like this before.
I'm not sure where the video was made as one internet site reports it was made in Iraq while another says it was made at Camp Pendleton. In my opinion, it doesn't really matter. The important thing is that the band took the time to say "thank you" in their own unique way. Based upon the band's reputation, it's somewhat miraculous that Simmons only has to be "bleeped out" once in this performance.
Be sure to crank those speakers up because this rocks !! As for Simmons and KISS, I say thanks for supporting our troops, guys.
